According to various reports this morning, Geoff Cameron is one step closer to living his dream of playing in the English Premier League.

"I'm officially a Potter," Cameron reportedly told Jesus Ortiz of the Houston Chronicle.

Stoke City has confirmed they have reached a deal with the USMNT player, and are just a couple of steps away from finalizing the transfer.

Cameron will meet up with the team in Orlando today for a physical, then will have to attain his work permit.

Stoke City Chief Executive Tony Scholes said, "Whilst we would not normally confirm a transfer until everything is complete, we have agreed a fee and personal terms in this instance and the player will now join up with the squad in Orlando to have his medical."

According to reports, August 3rd is when Cameron would find out if his work permit is approved and would be cleared to play at that point.

Great news for the "former" Houston Dynamo defender. One step closer to living his dream.
